i play favorites

MY FAVORITE PRESENT

As many MANY people know BYU Idaho has a very strict dresscode. Along the long long long list of things that we are not allowed to wear including capris, FLIPFLOPS are not allowed. This rule kills me because i LOVE my flipflops, i would wear them everyday of my life if i could. I don't have any shoes BUT flips flops besides winter ones. And if it being the dresscode at school wasn't bad enough my work recently decided that it would have the same dress code as the school!! So everyday i go to work complaining because i am convinced that tennis shoes ruin my outfit ....... So Skyler being the smart boy he is found a solution to my problem, he got me some SUPER cute sandals that i could wear at school/work because they have straps to keep my feet in, AND the best part is, they don't look like they were made for an 80 year old women!! I LOVE MY NEW SANDALS and they are almost as comfortable as my flipsflops, and one last plus, i am in a much better mood when walking into work!!

besides that I'm finally 20 and it feels so good. People loved to make fun of the fact that i was nineTEEN and married...not like 20 is any better but i couldn't be happier, and it sounds older. Skyler did such a good job being the sweetest husband ever for my birthday week and i love him more than anything!!

And a shout out to my mom, Jeffrey, and Candy for my sweet birthday blogs. You guys are too sweet to me!!

Well... I was 19 and yes I got teased, but 6 years later, nobody knows the difference. So be proud!! And good job hubby on the sands. What kind of dumb rule is that anyway? I heard they had wierd stuff like that at BYU-I. Shouldn't BYU-Provo and BYU-Idaho have the same rules? So in the summer you basically have to wear a skirt or pants? Whats with the no capris????

So glad that you had a fabulous day. You deserve it.

I don't really get why the shoes you have are any different than flip flops?!?!?! I'm glad that you can wear them though. Way to find a loop hole!!!!

I can't believe you are 20!! I remember when the kids crashed your 12th birthday. You are so old! I love your shoes, I am glad we are the same size.

Super cute sandals!! That was really thoughtful of him! Glad you had a great birthday!

I was 18 when I got married. I turned 19 a month later, but for some reason that sounded better to me than 18. But when ya fall in love, ya gotta go for it right?!? ;)
