BIG NEWS!

Today I went to the dr. for my weekly check-up. My blood pressure has consistently been going up with each appointment and today was no different. My doctor checked me and I am dilated to a 2 0r 3 and am about 70% effaced. I had talked to my doctor before about being induced because my mom never went into labor naturally and today he asked me if I wanted to be induced. Considering the high levels of anxiety I have been feeling about NOT knowing when my baby is going to arrive I said YES! He called the hospital and came back and told me Monday at 7:30am! I couldn't believe that he went ahead and scheduled it so easily. It's only 4 days away! We are so excited and I can't wait to hold my baby in just a few days. So if all goes well and I don't have a super long labor, or go into labor sooner, it looks like our baby is going to be born on November 30th!!

BIRTHDAY BOYS!

Today is the 2 main men in my lives birthday! [we were hoping that the little guy would come today as well but I'm not that lucky] First off I want to wish my handsome husband a Happy 24th birthday! In honor of his birthday I thought I would list 24 random facts about him.24. Skyler is the oldest of 4 kids.
23. Skyler was born in Provo, UT and raised in Texas.
22. Skyler got his first job when he was in 8th grade. He worked at a local grocery store and rode his bike to work everyday.
21. Skyler loves to fish and camp, and would love to go hunting one day.
20. Skyler served in the Brazil Salvador South Mission and loved everything about it.
19. Unlike a lot of guys, Skyler talks to his mom everyday!
18. Skyler played basketball throughout his high school career.
17. Skyler loves to create things.
16. If I didn't cook or remind Skyler to eat, he would go days without eating.
15. Skyler was the CUTEST little blonde hair, blued eyed boy on earth. Still is.
14. Skyler loves to watch movies.
13. Skyler is very interested in wars, and thinks about them more than the average person.
12. Skyler LOVES to snowboard, his dream would be working at a year round ski resort.
11. Skyler loves his Dr.Pepper. When we first got married I would ask him what he wanted for lunch and he would say a Dr.Pepper. Apparently he counts soda's as meals.
10. When Skyler was younger he would create his own clothes and outfits.
9. Skyler plays the piano very well.

7. Skyler learned to speak Portuguese on his mission, then came home and self taught himself Spanish because it's more practical.
6. Skyler loves to sing and has a really good voice.

and Of course I have to wish my dad a HAPPY BIRTHDAY as well! He is turning 52 today! I love my dad so much, I have always been close to him and it has been really hard to not be right by his side through the struggles in his life right now. I hope this next year is nothing but good things for my dad because he deserves it. He truly is such an amazing man!LOVE YOU DADDY!

It beginning to look alot like christmas!

It has been snowing here most of the weekend and it felt like the perfect time to decorate for Christmas! Everyone is saying it is too early but I dont think it is ever too early to get into the Christmas spirit. I am so excited for Christmas this year and a newborn baby boy is going to be the greatest present EVER!This coming Thursday I have a doctor's appointment and he is hopefully going to schedule a day to induce me. I am going to shoot for December 5th, so I can get a week of school in after thanksgiving break before the baby comes. Of course I wouldn't mind going into labor naturally before that but I am just not that lucky. Hopefully I will have a date soon!

I AM ONE MONTH FROM MY DUE DATE!!
We are getting so antsy to meet our baby boy. I am hoping and praying he comes early.

I love halloween, everything about it. This is Skyler and I's third halloween together! Time has seriously flown by!Now the next thing we have to look forward to is the arrival of our little one, it is so exciting to think that he is due in one month, we are soo ready to meet him already!
