TWINS?

I'VE MET MY TWIN!!!!

everybody meet Paige! She lives on the floor above me and we are everyone's new obsessions. We are complete twins, VERY similar personalities, same size, we look pretty alike, and we just do thinks....the same. She is my new workout buddy and ever since we have been inseparable. I love it.

besides that life i rexburg is good. It's cold but who ever let that get in the way. Today i am going out to lunch with my friend Ryan Lee and then coming home and locking myself in my room for hours till i know my biology book like the back of my hand (wish me luck!)

but what i am REALLY excited for is this weekend. About 15 of us girls are all going to conference together and staying at my friend jennies cabin in sun dance. It is going to be one FUN weekend. I know it already :]

SLEEP DEPRIVATION!!

I would call this a serious sign of sleep deprivation. And YES, this is a real picture, my friend came to my apartment to drop something off and took this picture (the flash and her laughing woke me up). I was in the middle of a LOOOONG assignment for a class on the philosophy and history of education and this is what happened. I don't know if i could blame it on me not getting enough sleep at night or how ridiculously boring the class is but either way, THIS IS A PROBLEM!!

Does anyone have any tips to help me stay awake during the day. It seems like everyday is the same thing, i sit down to do my homework and BAM all the sudden i can't keep my eyes open. I've been making an honest effort to do all my assignments but this is starting to get old.
I know everyone is going to say GO TO BED EARLIER! which is obvious, but i try and i just can't fall asleep. i lay there for hours till i am finally out. I tried taking a sleep aid and the next day i was SOOO groggy. help me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENDALL!

ok, so some days are just better than others, and today just started off as one of those bad days. i COULD not get out of bed and by the time i finally did, i had 10 minutes to get ready before i had to go to class. I felt like i had HUGE circles under my eyes and looked half dead (i know this is taking mom back to when i used to roll into seminary in the morning with the same look), but atleast i went to class.

I came home to a PACKAGE from my mom. I have to say that she definently did a good job on this one. It was full of all kinds of halloween treats and fun stuff. OH and one of the cutest jackets i have ever seen! It was a good treat and it definently made mine AND my roommates day. I just had to take a cheesy picture posing with the package and my new jacket for my mom!

After getting ready and running a few errands some friends and i went out to celebrate my friend Kendall's birthday. He is one of the biggest sweethearts i know. He left everything and came down here from Alaska to marry my roommate (last semester) and be together. She is now pregnant and they are happy as can be...So to celebrate we all went to his favorite restraunt in Idaho Falls, Texas Roadhouse. By the time we left we all were about to explode, let's just say we took those all you can eat rolls to quite an extreme!!!

temple day!

At the very highest point of Rexburg sits the new temple, it's not scheduled to be completed till December 29th but Hannah and i decided to take a nice sunday trip up there today just to walk the grounds. It is one of the most beautiful temples i have ever seen, at night you can see it from ANYWHERE as it sits as a light upon the hill. I LOVE IT!!! I feel really lucky to have a temple in my town, where ever i am , i know i can always look up and see the temple.

P.S. have i mentioned how much it sucks to have church at 8:15! i mean come on we are college kids, we stay out late. I AM SO TIRED!!!!

snow is SEPTEMBER?

IT'S SNOWING OUTSIDE!!!
yes it is September 29th and the snow is falling out here in good ole' Rexburg. It's crazy but i wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Last night was the most fun i have had, well since last weekend :] I have become SUCH good friends with all the girls in my tower (the girls across the hall and above us) this year so i am having a ton of fun. Last night we went to a bonfire at the sand dunes. There was music playing, people dancing, and just everyone socializing. It was totally my atmosphere.


This is going to be a good year at school, i know it. I have the right attitude and have made alot of positive changes in my life that have brought me to this point of true happiness. I know that what i am doing is right and it gives me this really peaceful, content feeling.

I have to run though, Hannah wants me to go workout with her and i didn't buy this gym pass for nothing!
