7. Kendall and Cassandra came by with little baby Mady.
6. Those family games that just bring out the best in everyone. (we did share some laughs through all the competition)
5. Dying easter eggs with the family, skyler, and all the roomies!
4. My family was here so i got to bail out of 8:15 church after sacrament. AND then got a tasty breakfast of waffles and bacon.
3. EASTER BASKETS!!! Skyler hadn't gotten one for years so it was way fun for him to get one, and i always love tasty treats.
2. I got to be with my family, skyler, closest friends, and ROOMIES all in one.
1. I got a momma meal [ham, super noodles, rolls, asparagus, and smoothie jello!!]

st.patty's day!!

today was just a good day for me. I got to sleep in cause i have NO classes on monday and didn't have to go into work till 2. So i got all dressed up in my green outfit in honor of St.Patrick's day, watched some "what not to wear" and went into work. [just a little side note to make my mom proud: on the way to work i stopped at hork's to get skyler a dr.pepper and couldn't help but get myself a diet pepsi...i don't know what has happened to me!!] I made 2 sales in just my first half hour of work which is WAYYYY good. 40 bucks a sale, not too bad!! Then when i got off work i went to dinner with some girlfriends and came home to my FAVORITE LITTLE FRIEND!!! My roommate's boyfriend andy has to babysit his 2 year old niece every once in a while and tonight we got her!! I was in heaven. she is SUCH a cute angel and i played with her till she had to go home, [and she left chanting my name]!! Then Skyler got back from basketball and i got to be with him for the rest of the night :)! All and all i would say it was almost a perfect day.



Just a little side note: i think i am more tan at this point in time than i have ever been. Where did this tan come from living in the deathly coldness of idaho. . . snowboarding! crazy huh? i was just looking at this not so attractive picture of myself and thought of how crazy that was...lauren with a tan. i remember in 7th grade my nickname from my teacher was "pasty white legs". well my legs still might be pasty but my face is lookin tan!!

NOOO PARKINGGG

Tuscany decided to make half of the parking lot a no parking zone. It's a little ridiculous and you will still find a bunch of the girls who live here parking in the NO PARKING zone. So today i went and got groceries and it was a BLIZZARD outside so i decided to park in the no parking zone just to bring in my groceries. By the time we got back to my car management had posted signs on my car saying "NO PARKING! GOT IT?" and cones all around it. My roommates and i thought that this was entertaining

i just think this is cute. i just think he is cute.
my life is still boring not much to update on. OH actually, i got a job. I'm a working girl now and i actually really like the place i'm working alot alot. But besides that, i'm still happy. and still boring.

snowboarding

FINALLY some pictures from snowboarding. Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day at Grand Targhee. The weather was not bad at all, there was fresh powder, and the skies were pretty clear.

Snowboarding is definently the highlight of my week and i love being able to go, and get school credit for it. Every Wednesday i play the role of "momma bear" and make 4 sandwhiches, one for me, jon, skyler, and tanner and also pack a ton of lunch snacks. By the time we get back to the bus at about 4:30 we are completely starving from have only eaten breakfast and a whole day of snowboarding, so my little lunch i pack everyone is always real tasty! snowboarding is such a fun time to spend with my friends and i get to do something i just love to do!!

baby mady!!

i think it is pretty well known that i LOVE LOVE LOVE children. If i had the option of hanging out with some friends on a friday night or a bunch of little kids i would probably pick the kids. they are just more fun. and what i love even more is BABIES!!!! On December 29th (paypay's birthday) my friend Cassandra had a little baby girl. My new favorite thing to do is go over to their apartment and play with little mady. She is one of the CUTEST babies i have ever seen and i just love her so much.

sunday dress!

Skyler and i both gave talks in church on sunday. i spoke on integrity and he spoke on obedience. i seriously don't know the last time i gave a talk but i was soooo nervous. I prayed to be calm and feel good about it and when i went to the pulpit to give the talk i did SO good. barley even looked at my paper, and did not stutter once, CRAZY huh? Skyler also gave an amazing talk. He is like a natural speaker i swear. He didn't have a piece of paper or anything but delivered such a good talk. i was way proud of him. but my mom asked me to take a picture of us all dressed up together for church so here it is. Let me just warn you...not the best picture of skyler.

my valentine

This morning i woke up to a nice little valentines surprise from skyler. He was going to decorate my hallway but our door was locked and Skyler couldn't get in so he decorated my car. It was covered in posterboards and the inside was full of balloons and all kinds of valentines treats and some of my favorite stuff. it was such a nice surprise cause i usually don't really do anything on Valentines and i was just expecting a little card or something so i was WAAAAAY excited when i saw all the work he put into making me feel special. At night we went on a little date then when we got back his friends came over cause they had a surprise for me too. They had a shirt made for me that says "we love Lauren" and has a picture of them, then the back has a little inside joke of ours quoted on it. It made me laugh. We had a little valentines party with all of us, i made cupcakes and a big heart shaped cookie so we all ate and just had a good time. I would say that this was a pretty great valentines.
