Last week Cousin Kayla and I were both very, VERY sick. SO we decided for FHE to make some soup, A family favorite, Tortellini. This family recipe calls for a little bit of wine [don't worry, the alcohol cooks out!] After the adventure of trying to buy wine in a mormon town, we had another set back, opening the bottle. It had a rubber cork in it, something that both kayla and i are clueless about. We tried EVERYTHING to open the bottle
....The bottom of a beater to a mixer
....Scissors
....Tweezers
....I had the amazing idea of reversing an electric drill
and after about 30 minutes of pulling, tugging, squeezing, and prayer we FINALLY got it open.

Only in Rexburg, in an LDS home would one PRAY about getting a wine bottle open. Classic. Was the soup good?
So funny. I would have ABSOLUTELY no idea how to open a wine bottle. I know my Dad gets nervous when he has to go to the store and buy a couple of 40's Buds. He uses them in his ribs... sure....
Ha! You are a riot!
(I look like you now, I am a copy cat)
i hope the soup was worth all that work! :)
