take me out to the ball game

Growing up in a baseball loving family I naturally have a love for it. Whether it was going to my brothers baseball games or heading out to San Fransisco for a Giants game I loved EVERY minute of it. Living in Idaho there is no baseball insight and over the last few years I have been itching to be able to go out to a ball game. The first day Skyler and I got to Portland we took a drive down our street to check out the town and I spotted PGE Park, it looked like a baseball stadium if I had ever seen one but I knew for a FACT that portland does not have a major league team. That night I went home and did some research and found out that it IS a baseball stadium for the minor league team the Portland Beavers! I have been SO excited about this since we got here and last night a group of us finally went to a game!! I cant lie..I was a little disap
pointed by the small crowd but it was still a fun game and we got to sit right behind home plate. The beavers started off losing miserably but in the 5th inning they got a GRAND SLAM and ending winning the game 6-4! and the most exciting part of the game.....I caught a fly ball!!I really hope that one day we have a little boy who loves baseball so we can continue to have a team to root on!

more baby

our baby is looking a whole lot more human!! it was so cute today, moving around like crazy and looked like it had the hiccups!! its heart beats 163 times a minute.
i would update my blog more often but i am SO boring. I sit around all day with no cable, no internet half the time, no phone, and SICK!! i do lots of puzzles and card games just counting down the minutes for skyler to come home from work. I am starting to feel a little better though and hopefully in the next few weeks life will be exciting again!
