our baby

today i got to see our baby!! it is a little angel and i just love it, you could see it's little arms moving around on the ultrasound and its little heart beating. This whole pregnancy is so much more real now that i actually SAW our baby! After the ultrasound i had to go to the lab for some blood tests and they took 10 viles of blood. After about 4 my arm stopped cooperating and they had to switch arms. I sometime during the switch passed out long enough for her to get the last 6 viles of blood, wake up on a gurney with about 8 people around me trying to wake me up. They said i got so pale that they could almost see through me. They had to call skyler to come pick me up and wouldn't release me till i stopped shaking...which took forever. i have no clue why i went out but i was so confused when i woke up and was completely COVERED in sweat. Even though the appointment ended bad i was still so excited to have the pictures of baby in hand!dont mind that i am holding the pictures upside down or that i look deathly, this being sick business has taken quite a toll on me.

everyone dreams

Skyler has something new that he wants to be probably every week. Throughout our marriage he has wanted to be a helicopter pilot, cop, homicide investigator, firefighter, ski instructor, truck driver, ski lift technician, a bounty hunter, lawn man, a country singer or rockstar, a back country paramedic and so many more i can't even recall.

Driving into oregon we drove through many mountain passes and through one of them there was lumberjacks cutting down trees with some huge machines. Skyler's eyes lit up and he made me take a picture of him with a log so he can "see himself as a lumberjack." The whole ride home all i heard about was how great it would be to be a lumberjack.

Yet...with all these hopes and dreams he is majoring in accounting

....YES i am pregnant! I had to wait to tell until i got to california to tell my mom in person. She FLIPPED [video below] I had her "help me carry in some stuff" and gave her a bag i got from the doctor FULL of all kinds of pregnancy stuff. As she was walking in the house she kept trying to see what was in the bag then after she set it down, it hit her..and then the craziness happened.

But the important stuff, i am 5 weeks along and so far so good. I am SO tired all the time and pee every 2 seconds but no sickness. Skyler and i are so excited!!
