The first ride home!!!This last weekend we went out to watch the Jackson Hole Moose hockey game with a bunch of friends. I developed a love for hockey. Just a few reasons...
1. Skating is SO much more fun to watch then running around on a field
2. They let the players fight!! The ref's don't break it up until someone is on the ground
3. Figure Skating during intermission
4. The crowd...INSANE, loved LOVED that
5. You aren't in the BURNING SUN or FREEZING COLD, you are inside
A hockey game was definently out of the norm but we actually had a REALLY good time. We became big fans just being in such a pumped crowd. Definently a good date idea!!
Every wednesday night a group of guys play basketball at the stake center. Back in the day Skyler used to be baller and loves to go play. Last night i went to go cheer him. Turned out that they had an odd number of guys there and I had to jump in and play. I have NEVER played basketball before and i was probably NO help but it was fun to be able to play with Skyler. He was a stud out there!!
Yesterday was Mine and Skyler's 6 month anniversary. SO we decided to celebrate!! My cute husband took a break from work and brought me a card and some goodies, it was so cute to see that he 1. remembered and 2. thought about me!! Then that night we went out to eat, [since Skyler got laid off we haven't eaten out once and have been CHEAP so it was so fun to be able to get out!!] We went
out to hardhat steak house and had the yummiest dinner, and the scones there...to die for!! The whole day he was like "this time 6 months ago we were in the temple, at our reception, and so on." He really made the day special for me and i am so lucky to have a husband who loves me SO much!!
