Going on a cruise for our honeymoon was the perfect fit for us. We had so so much fun and i am ready to go on another!!

As many MANY people know BYU Idaho has a very strict dresscode. Along the long long long list of things that we are not allowed to wear including capris, FLIPFLOPS are not allowed. This rule kills me because i LOVE my flipflops, i would wear them everyday of my life if i could. I don't have any shoes BUT flips flops besides winter ones. And if it being the dresscode at school wasn't bad enough my work recently decided that it would have the same dress code as the school!! So everyday i go to work complaining because i am convinced that tennis shoes ruin my outfit ....... So Skyler being the smart boy he is found a solution to my problem, he got me some SUPER cute sandals that i could wear at school/work because they have straps to keep my feet in, AND the best part is, they don't look like they were made for an 80 year old women!! I LOVE MY NEW SANDALS and they are almost as comfortable as my flipsflops, and one last plus, i am in a much better mood when walking into work!!

besides that I'm finally 20 and it feels so good. People loved to make fun of the fact that i was nineTEEN and married...not like 20 is any better but i couldn't be happier, and it sounds older. Skyler did such a good job being the sweetest husband ever for my birthday week and i love him more than anything!!

DAYS 5&6

Yesterday was a very fun day. Since Skyler and I both have to work on my birthday and he won't be off till 10PM, he used yesterday to do the fun stuff. In the morning we got up and went GO-KART racing. After GO-KART racing we went to lunch hung out for a while. When dinner time started to come close he told me that he had reservations for us somewhere, but wanted to surprise me. So i agreed to let him blind fold me and we drove for a while before i finally got to take them off. He had made reservations for us at Grand Targhee Ski Resort Steakhouse. This was super sweet because skyler and i used to go snowboarding together EVERYWEEK over winter semester and we always thought that restraunt would be SO nice to go to but it is so expensive that we never did. Targhee was SO PRETTY in the summer time and the steakhouse was BEAUTIFUL!! It was so thoughtful of him and we had a real good time.
Then this morning skyler made us pancakes!! I am so proud that he has been cooking because he has always claimed otherwise. He is supposed to cook dinner tonight too but i think we are going to end up eating our leftovers from last night. I just LOVE BIRTHDAY WEEK, but it is sadly coming to an end.

DAY 3&4

OK i got a little behind on birthday week but i am back. For the last 2 days skyler has been going strong. Yesterday he BAKED-this is was scary. He made blueberry muffins and they weren't too bad. They were a little [and by alittle i mean ALOT] burnt but we still ate them. AND then last night he went to redbox and rented us a movie and got some popcorn and we had a movie night.Then this morning he had to go "run some errands" and came back with my FAVORITE chocolate milk which i have been talking about for DAYS and a dozen roses.
I have decided that i LOVE birthday week and i think everyone needs to try it!! Skyler is the sweetest husband i could ever ask for and i am lucky to have snatched that boy up!!

DAY 2

Today is DAY 2 of birthday week and Skyler did not disappoint. I woke up today to a breakfast cooked by my sweetie. You have to understand that this is HUGE, he CAN NOT cook. He made bacon, waffles, juice, and sliced an orange and grapes and had them arranged on my plate [he said he got the idea from the cruise..HAHAH] The breakfast was actually pretty tasty and was a sweet way to be woken up. He is taking this birthday week pretty serious, i can't wait to see whats in store for tomorrow!!

birthday week

A few years back i got tired of just having a birthday. All work up to it, and then its over before youknow it. So i decided that i would have a birthday week. This has been celebrated in my family for some years now and now that i am married i have given Skyler much warning. Today, being ONE week before my birthday started off birthday week. I was almost certain Skyler would forget but to my surprise this morning he wakes me up with Donuts, Apple Juice, And a card!! He tells me that everyday he has a different thing planned and theme of today was something to the effect of "our love is like a donut, never ending like the circle." I know he made that up on the spot but it still made me laugh!! My mom has warned him about this week and i guess stressed him out enough that he really is giving me a birthday week!



In other news. Skyler and I are FINALLY getting done setting up our new Apartment. We still have very very LITTLE on the walls because i do not have a clue how to decorate, but everything else is looking good.
Skyler and I decided that we would buy a couch with our wedding money and well, i guess we weren't thinking about HOW small our living room is when we bought it...
We LUCKED out on our TV. Skyler won an Ipod Touch at work and we decided to trade it in and buy a TV with the money instead. We found an AWESOME deal...paid the difference and now have this little gem.
